Love mine, but got it for 30$ on Marketplace. Price aside, I tried apple TV, it was good but not an apple guy so couldn't do it. I was a huge fire stick guy, but man the ads and Amazon related content has pushed me away. So this has been my favorite, but wouldn't have dropped 100$ on it no.
I have this Google streamer not one I have four of them in my house bought them in day one wired and WiFi, on my four TVs I never had any issues with any of them and I love them better than the stupid grandpa ad gouging Roku

Atleast Google TV Streamer 4K was not a gloss finish, gloss products under bright lights are covered in scratches, matte finish is much better

The $100 price tag definitely made it dead-on-arrival. There was no way many of us were gonna dump much cheaper alternatives for some new experiment that brought nothing new to the crowded table. I'm very much OK with my Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Max and Xiaomi TV Box S 3rd gen.
If they wanted to sell this for $100 it should included lossless audio passthrough
