Too late upgrade it and now my dongle only partially works my ethernet works but my external storage does not

Unplug your Chromecast from power and let it rest for 5 min before replugging it. Once booted, check if you get the new ATV OS update (at least that's how I managed to get it).

Don't upgrade first because cannot automatically connect to wifi !!!
The update does not let you keep your external drive. It automatically ejects external usb drive. You can not use a usb external drive anymore with the update. The system works so much faster with the update.
I updated to Android 14 however, now my remote is not connecting
I bought four of Google Streamer few months ago when the released to upgrade four of my old ones, I am still have these old ones as wanna give it to some few people ,looks like I can still do.
