  1. Since AT&T sold all of Direct TV to a private company for 7.6 billion (yes seven billion!) just recently and it was finalized on July 2nd. It will be interesting to see what happens. I left Direct TV streaming service and cancelling was a nightmare at the time you couldn't do it over the net and had to speak with a representative that sounded injected with forced to be nice serum after a half hour hold. Switched to Sling Blue, which we enjoy because we don't watch sports, and tired of being fleeced for channels we don't watch.

  2. I have been with DIRECTV satellite for 11 yrs, it works great. I just had them reduce my choice plan by $40 and give me the new Gemini remove for free, just had to agree to 1 yr. Contract. I hope the new remove solve my issues with an LG tv remote for streaming and the old DIRECTV remote. If you have been with them for a few year, just ask to speak to the loyalty team. They are the ones who have the ability to offer something.

  3. I cut the cord 2 years ago and since joining t$3 streaming community have to say you are all a bunch of whiners. You think everything should be free. Please join the real world. Oh my god max has commercials. They need to make money so I can save over 100 dollars over cable

  4. I'm a sports only watcher, I crunched some numbers and the MySports package is the best one for sports. Its the only service that has the primary cable sports channels, includes ESPN+, and has an add-on for your RSN (Fanduel Sports South/Southeast in my case) for under $100. Adding ESPN+ and RSNs on any other service puts you in the $110-$125 range depending on your market.
