Is the remote with the built in battery able to have the battery replaced?
I don't need another device I have to charge.🤦♀
It's a hard pass on Pro remote. The regular Roku Voice remote with batteries is the best option.
When the power goes out the Pro Voice is just another paper weight.
Just upgraded two of my remotes to the pro remote. I like the background light on them and like that I can just charge them when needed and don’t have to make sure that I have batteries on hand.
I used the voice feature for a day or two and haven't since for a couple of months.
The remote that can be recharged are not as sturdy as the real replaceable battery ones. The rechargeable I have to push buttons much harder to get to work.
Kids that lose it a lot? I lose my remote on a daily if not hourly basis 😂🤣😂🤣
I have an older pro remote that has a headphone jack. I like to plug in my apple wired earbuds. And it also has a rechargeable battery. I hope when i replace the box i can use this remote.
I bought the pro generation 1 about 2 years ago and bought the generation 2 pro about 4 months ago, the selling point was the rechargeable battery, the remote with the blacklist i use in my bedroom and my 1st generation pro i keep it in my living room.
