Was ready to purchase a C5 but am suddenly spooked upon learning about its and OLED's apparent fragility. Above mantel is the only practical place to mount tv, so am looking to install TV on a mantel mount type system. Would repeated raising and lowering put TV at risk of getting damaged?

HI ANDREW another great video and dam i LOVE your voice so smooth anyhow i just ordered the LG C5 48 inch for my PC will use it as a monitor looking forward to it to watch movies etc. will also hook up the Kanto Ora4's and the SU8 sub am thinking it should be a pretty sweet set up what are your thoughts ? should i have gone another way ? will be only sitting 3-4 feet away cheers all be well and be safe
Just note that C4 supports DTS, but C5 doesn't for some reason

I still Love my C1, but have recently had panel issues. The left side has horizontal lines about 1/8 of the way across the screen (65 inch) from top to bottom now after only 5 or 6 years… The picture still looks amazing, but the lines make me sad. The cost to fix pushes me to buy a C5. Would love the G5, but the jump from C1 to C5 should be pleasing without the huge $$$ hit. I am really hoping the next panel doesn't do this too. I do run this TV hard. Long hours every day, so it may be on me for this.
I had a LG C2 and i LOVED it, sadly i accidently broke it by accident, and in the market for an upgrade and im going buy a C5 becuz the C2 was so good.
Privacy: Another great reason for Apple TV. Then you do not even have to connect it to the internet unless you need an update.
Excellent review!! Reaffirms my recent decision to by a 55-inch C5.
I use FMM for SDR, DV and HDR with the FMM Ambient Light Sensor turned-on for all 3. Except for a few minor additional SDR and DV tweaks, I'm using just as described in the video. Also use Roku Ultra and eArc connected to my AVR.
Looks and sounds fantastic.
