Wd40 makes a contact cleaner spray. Evaporates quickly and no residue.
But, wd40bwahes out the carbon coating onpcb aswell as buttons of keypad. Perhaps one has to be cautious.
I’d love to clean my TiVo remote, but I can’t get it apart. 😢
