  1. Let’s not get pretentious with our language here, okay? A 43 inch television is not going to be part of a “home theater“ set up. It’s a TV that’s going to be a TV that goes into a spare room or a kids bedroom if they’re lucky.

  2. Can you please tell me on this tv where i find TV im trying to hook up an antenna and i cant find the auto program channels .Also where is the volume on the remote i did audio guide and theres only a mute button nothing to raise or lower the volume also theres no where to see inputs like hdmi 1 or tv . Any info is appreciated

  3. No thanks. Seriously, those 4K TVs from Samsung, Sony, LG—they’re way overrated. Take the Samsung U8000F 4K TV they’re hyping as the “best budget Samsung TV.” I tried it, and honestly, it was a big disappointment.

Here’s the thing: upscaling ruins everything. I mean, I have a collection of 1080p Blu-rays, crystal clear, perfect quality. But put those discs through that 4K TV’s upscaling engine? Instant garbage. Colors get washed out, details get muddy, and motion smoothing just makes everything look fake—like one of those cheap soap operas.

I quickly realized: 4K isn’t always better, especially when you’re mostly watching 1080p content. So I went back to my 2018 Samsung 1080p TV, and man, the difference was night and day. Crisp images, true colors, no weird artifacts or artificial sharpening messing up my movies.

If you’re serious about picture quality, don’t get blinded by “4K” marketing buzz. A good native 1080p panel beats most budget 4K TVs that rely heavily on upscaling. Especially if you watch lots of Blu-rays or cable TV.

So yeah, no thanks to the Samsung U8000F and other 4K TVs from the big brands—they just can’t handle the content I care about without turning it into a blurry mess. I’m sticking with my 1080p setup that actually respects the source.

  4. Good value, picked one up today Samsung need to improve the ux of the tv interface/sit a little busy/tired appreciate the inclusion of two remotes the minimal one and the old school design
