Does PS3 Camera Work on PS5? Unfortunately, the PS3 camera doesn't work on the PS5. You'll need the PS Camera for PS4 with an adapter, or the new PlayStation HD Camera for PS5.

So I will have to pay a monthly fee to use something I can use home assistant or another solution to get it for free???
And I ‘m sure with that seamless integration, the video data goes to Roku or some Chinese tv company???
I recently updated cameras from ARLO due to online storage to EUFY. EUFY allows me to store my video locally on a Homebase. I put an old 500B SATA HDD in to store the video from 5 cameras locally and no subscription required. I would not add ROKU devices after seeing the ongoing debacle affecting users of their streaming devices/TV's.
ROKU Streambar and TV's have had a "RECOVERY MODE UPDATE" problem for over a year that has not been fixed and continues to plague users on Streambar and their TV's. Took 2 months to get to me on restore my device. People are tossing their ROKU devices in frustration. I've had the RECOVERY MODE UPDATE FAILURE on the Streambar and Stick. Stick was resolved in 2 days, the Streambar took 2 months.

Roku having cameras watching you in your home, what could go wrong?. I am sure eventually there will be ads on the camera screens.
My experience over 18 months: Kind of works ok but needs a lot of fine tuning.
At first when they added the Carousel feature it looked promising, but it nearly always skips a camera saying "not on the network" it is on the network and when you try again it will usually work the second or third time.
I have a subscription that works nicely but from time to time you look at the thumbnail picture and click on it and get a loading error. The help desk tells me to remove the camera and reinstall it.
The camera facing my pool you get many false reports, with the reflection off the pool from the sun you get a person report when it's just a tree is reflecting off the pool.
The doorbell camera will report false events but that is because nothing I have tried works in the detection zone.
So, I will keep it, but it does have issues.
am not☹☹☹ happy with roku peroid there players are crazy some time it doesnt work on youtube tv and also hulu playing probblem will be jumping ship soon too fire stick
