I don't know why after 7 years nobody can just build a box with better hardware than the Shield. Just take a mini PC and Google certify it with Android OS. It's almost like it's a rule DON'T BEAT THE SHIELD….lol

Glad I purchased Google TV when it was only $49.99 4K. My only gripe I wish I could connect directly to the USB port on the television instead of the power outlet with the cord showing

have a shield pro and ive never, ever used ai upscaling. it just makes stuff look worse. i cant turn it off, thanks nvidia, so i keep it on low and simply forget about it. am i missing something? like, i can literally see degradation when its turned on. no matter if its sd or hd content. i presume its for sd content, right? if i crank it all the way up, objects are not sharper, but more aliased. seriously. what am i missing?
pretty sure its using a CPU i had in the cheapo chinese tv boxes from almost a decade ago. I looked up the spec when i saw this few weeks back and went WTF. I think its a slightly tweaked model of a 10year old CPU. With that RAM every time you minimize plex to check something it will relaunch the full app again
