Google TV needs to pay for the license to sell and rent movies that offer Dolby Atmos. Google is full of cheap bastards! I started purchasing my movies through Apple TV as opposed to buying them through Google TV.
I begrudgingly use Google anything bc they are all in your s roku is more fun
Google TV is great, but as a Spectrum TV subscriber I'm forced to go to Roku to use the Spectrum TV app – which is, not only inconvenient, but makes me use Roku more than I normally would want to. All my devices are android based (Samsung phones, watch, etc), all revolving around Google – Google should offer the complete package.
I’ve used Roku, fire tv, and google tv and I love google tv. Just like you said I love that it integrates with my google account. I also love the layout. The apps are easy to find and navigate. I feel like fire tv seems cluttered on screen. Roku also seems slow to load anything. The $14 onn stick from Walmart is now my go to streamer

I have been using Google TV since it was known as Android TV.
Question: Will this new Google TV update come to devices like the Nvidia Shield? I know that the Nvidia Shield does use a forked version of Google TV.

I had a Google TV. It worked well until it started to glitch out on me, and so I switched to Apple TV.
