Interesting I’ve only had one remote give me problems and I simply got a new one from the company for free. I don’t think I’m going to do this not to mention how stinky WD smells but hey if it works it works, I guess.
What is a flat battery? Mine are round. Do you mean dead batteries? If so, maybe that's the issue. Use fresh ones.
