Recently changed my shield 2017 for the Google and have to say overall like it, homescreen is over populated so generally I have it set to Apps only in profile setting, box performs well imo

For me, the Apple TV 4K is the best choice. I am on the Apple Eco System: I own an iphone and an ipad. Yeah sure on an Apple TV 4K you can organize the apps just like all the other streamers have that ability. The biggest difference is that you get a cleaner user interface without all the extra advertising the other streaming devices serve you. My second choice is the Onn 4K Pro on which I am currently running Android 12; I also like the Android user interface. I just tried a Roku Streaming Stick 4K, and did not like it. I see the advertising creeping in that other users have complained about on the Roku devices. On the Roku device, I also don't like how the apps are organized in looks like grid, much like a Rubik's Cube. The Most complaints I have heard about concern Fire TV: there appears to be too much advertising on a Fire TV devices according to other users. I have also heard complaints about how the apps are organized. So I never bothered trying that any Fire TV device.
