The only thing holding me back from buying a new AppleTV is audio passthrough. Until I can pass through audio to my home theatre receiver, it's not a buy. It's a beautiful, well designed device so it's completely mind boggling that they don't have audio pass through.
Upgraded 2 of my Apple TVs, and broke the power off button on both. Holding the power button no longer turns off the TV. Apple needs to fix this.
Just curious…I may have missed it. Where in your video, or in the text description, do you tell everyone that tvOS 26 is a "developer update"? Don't you think that's an important item to mention? Or again, did I simply miss it?

This is why I love apple products, the TV is an old product at this point, and not the most popular one at that, still the updates we get even today are meaningful.
When reviewing streaming boxes like google streaming box against apple tv, many reviewers just compare the features out of the box, although google have been known to abandon their products.
Hey, when you select different profiles, does it keep the same set of apps on the other profiles? I'd like to have different sets of apps for my wife and myself.

The “select speaker” is good but need to see how that will incorporate with Sonos soundbar, surrounds and sub.
