So many people offering differing opinions to what some of these easter eggs are, it could very well prove that some of them can reference several movies. The submarine could easily be Hunt for Red October, Crimson Tide, or Periscope Down; while Alcatraz Island can reference Birdman of Alcatraz, Escape from Alcatraz, The Rock, or Murder In The First. Many of the others also have multiple possible references.

They just added and / or changed a bunch of things in the last couple days. The Castaway island has changed, some superhero is jumping off a building, a golf cart, another car, a van with a clown in front of a park. The leg lamp building has new things in the windows. Barnacles on the side of the factory among other things. I think I counted 11 or 12 new things. (also there is a new building which looks like a castle which may just be temporary)
