Apple may have given in, but I have given Apple up. My current phone is no longer Apple, my workstation (I'm an medical engineer) is no longer an Apple because they are too gutless. I no longer use Apple OS at all which is really surprising after all these years and are 100% Linux. I swapped my 2022 or 2023 Apple MacBook M2 Pro recently for an Asus ProArt HX370 and are happy with ample memory & storage options. The only thing I still have is an old Apple iPad I never use anymore but if I needed a new tablet I'd probably buy an Honor Pad V9 which my wife has. Apple is not just over priced, limited with options, and bad to repair – the products really started to bore me and it feels like a grift for dumb-dumbs. That's not prestige, that's a feeling of embarrassment!

The iPad Pro RAM is still the same as its maxed out predecessor at 16GB. There’s nothing more than 33GB/s more memory bandwidth, Wifi 7 from Wifi 6E & Bluetooth 6 from 5.3!
It’s a pointless “update” when they’re the sole updates. Users can’t even readily utilise these features without buying new gadgets that even facilitate WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 6.
Without that… what remains, the 2018 and the M4 iPad Pro were the upgrade years to follow.
