I’m still rocking the first 4K one and I use it DAILY but an updated processor would help for sure. Mine lags every now as then. I think it’s time to update !

They need to put a M1 chip in the next one.
I think for a streaming device and the use that I personally give to it is to much, so I am going to wait to the new one because there are rumours that the new one is going to be less expensive than the one on the market. Where I am (Portugal) the price is 189€ which for a streaming device I think is just to much. I’ll stick with the one that I have for now. But if there is a drop in price to 100€ for example I will definitely purchase one

Re the remote all you have to do is buy an AppleTV remote case with a holder for the AirTag and you’re sorted.
