2025 Apple TV & tvOS 19 Rumors: Major Changes Coming!

Many of Apple’s operating systems will be receiving design changes this year, according to the latest word from Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman.

Gurman previously reported that iOS 19, iPadOS 19, and macOS 16 will have new designs, with added translucency for a more glass-like appearance. In his Power On newsletter this week, he said that the design changes will extend to tvOS 19 for the Apple TV and watchOS 12 for the Apple Watch, but he did not provide any specific details.

  1. Why do you keep crediting Mark German for everything and then using Jon Prosser visual leaks with small text in the corner. Give front page tech credit!

  2. In the last year, Apple's cheapest "SE" phone has gone up in price from $429 to $599. Apple's big excuse for making their phones more expensive and "premium" was Apple Intelligence. Unfortunately Apple Intelligence does not do a tenth of what Gemini AI does on Google and Samsung phones. It seems unlikely that Apple's software engineers will be able to match the quality and sophistication of the combination of Gemini AI and Android for many years. Apple iPhones are around $200 more expensive than the equivalent Google Pixel phones and so at the very least Apple must cut the price of iPhones across the range by $200 to compete with Google.

  3. Id like for apple TVs screensaver to operate more like how your iphones lock screen operates. So there is information / widgets visible. Or even just put my phones standby mode on my TV when screensaver comes on or when i choose. Id like to be able to have an interface to my phone through it.. where I can access some of my phone apps (ones that have been made available on the platform and designed to similar to how some apps are designed to also work on carplay) So if i could access my Photos app and even use apple intelligence to create ai photos. Give me an interface for chatgpt. Lets see my email and texts on my TV, make phone calls, facetime, etc. Open Waze and plan my drive… shop amazon on my tv. Let me do the same thing with my apple watch.
