Nothing here remotely makes me what to upgrade. It's a streaming box that is stable and works great as it is. A new chip or upgraded BT and WiFi protocols offer no benefit if what you have now has no problems.
Waiting for one YouTuber to say: It will support lossless hi-res audio. Dolby True HD, DTS x etc, basically true HDMI passthrough. I it doesn’t have lossless, I keep the current one for the wife and carry on using my Nvidia shield.

I am torn…just bought a new (budget but quite nice) TV and the Fire TV interface…SUX ! ….. Perfect use case for the ATV……I will wait….impatient, tho……
Respectfully… Apple Intelligence on the Apple TV would be a game-changer. Here are just a few reasons why. First it would fix a host of problems with the apple TV when trying to find a show and where it is streaming. Netflix is not compatible with the the Apple TV app. Apple Intelligence will eliminate that because it will tell you that it's on Netflix. Also, when it comes to sporting events, it's almost impossible to tell where an event is streaming. Apple Intelligence will fix that as well. More importantly, Apple Intelligence will tell you where something isn't available for streaming and is only available for sale. And there are lots of those odds and ends movies and shows. For example, the old 70s television show Bewitched is only available on Roku devices. There's no way to know that. Apple Intelligence will fix that and will tell you, saving you time searching for it. Last and probably the biggest, it will integrate ChatGPT into the Apple TV. In conversation mode, you can do so many things with it, including telling stories and things like that. In the future, ChatGPT could easily tell you a custom story for your kids, and display illustrations for the story you are telling. This is the true power of the Apple TV, because none of the other streaming devices will have this kind of capability.
