  1. You make some nice basic changes to the audio video settings and then you go down a privacy paranoia rat hole. Have you read Apple’s privacy statements for how that data is used? You’re just telling literally everyone to turn off things that honestly, if you’re going to let any company collect, it’s going to be Apple. Please read the publicly available privacy and use of personally identifiable information on Apple’s website.

  2. This is just wrong, you are forcing your projector or screen to show in Dolby vision, causes problem with colors on some movies. If you set to 4K SDR and choose match content, etc to on it will play at the correct profile with no switching

  3. There are way too many of these Apple TV videos that go over the most basic of things that anyone can figure out.. most of the stuff is just common sense. If you're going to do a video like this you got to actually show tips that people wouldn't normally know.. but I already disagree with the very first one.. 4K SDR is the way to go. Dolby vision on at all times was just too much and it felt like overkill on the screen even though I have a great OLED.. by the way when you're in the settings menu it literally tells you what it does right to the left.. that's my one tip for you..

  4. @GeorgeTheaterAtHome – If you do not want apps to track you, I suggest setting the option of “Allow Apps to Ask to Track” to “Off”. That way the apps are automatically informed not to track you and will not have access to your Apple TV advertising identifier.
