Crazy the nvidia shield is ahead even after 12 years.
To be honest with you, none of this truly matters at the end of the day. As long as you have at least 80-100 mbs going to your device you should have no problems streaming what you want. Everything after that is just over kill. It’s not going to make your device faster.
Apple TV 4K is the best all around streaming device: it makes the most of a speedy internet connection, it has little to no junk advertising, it has a clean uncluttered user interface, it offers you the best customization options with both your audio and video equipment. The device itself is just very fast in every respect. If you are on the Apple Eco System like I am, all your Apple devices dovetail very nicely for a seamless experience. For the sake of completeness, I would suggest that Triple M do the same wi-fi speed test on a Roku device, and then include the test results of a Roku with the test results of the other devices.

I got the Shield Pro, and I gotta say, the Apple 4K is the only thing that even comes close to the Shield's picture quality.
I'm getting 470 down on my shield pro with wifi and 970 down with Ethernet
