Thanks for this. New channel? I mostly use my Shield for streaming.
Changing to static did not work, my Internet was "not connected" changing it back restored the connection.
Thank you so much now my shield Tv pro. It goes so much faster now.
Great vid. One clarification – with setting the static IP users should ensure they set the same IP range and subnet as their router – not just what the Shield Pro has as a default.

Just buy an Apple TV, the shield is 10 years old, no framerate match etc.
I gifted my two shield pro’s 3 years ago to friends and will never go back to this uitdated and not supported device anymore
