I don't subscribe to Youtube TV and I have always had a Roku so I'll stick with my Roku Ultra. Over the years I've learned most of the ins and outs or Roku and except for their Media Player Privacy Policy that allows it access to all of my Family Videos on my USB thumb drive to every App on my Roku, I like it.
I actually have a Roku TV as well as a TCL TV with Google TV, I use the Google TV to watch some channels as well as utilizing my dvd player
I like both of them
Something is going on between the youtubetv app and Roku. The YT tv app will not open. The only method of accessing is going through my iPad TY tv app to access
Spectrum turned us to ROKU for there streaming app, replaced Firestick 4K with Onn 4K Pro. I can't get the Spectrum app to work on the Onn 4K.
The only Google device I had was the chromecast and was not impressed but at the time I liked Roku and how they handled it. I like how they have changed and gotten better over the years and might try them out someday.
I never used them so I lean towards roku because I heard that it's more simple to use.
Unless the Roku has improved and become more accessible to people who are blind or low vision, it is not even on my list
Google TV's ROKU app works fine. .. If I were to stay with cable or go fully streaming I would go with Google TV. They have ROkU in there and you such a great YT interface. I think Google TV is going to keep taking cable tv customers
Youtube, WHY BECAUSE MY WIFE CAN USE YOUTUBE WITH MY ROKU, my wife has a hard time with anything to do with the PC WORLD, PERIOD, MY WIFE IS HAPPY then guess what I AM HAPPY……………………………….Yes my wife and I are in our mid 70's so its easier to use………………………….
