Apple tv is going to be e-waste for people outside of Apple ecosystem. You can't even access the remote with your Android phone. Stick to the google streamer or an amazon fire cube or even the stick 4k max

The only travesty of the Google TV Streamer is the name. Clunky. Tough for keyboard warriors to write. The people demand acronyms, dammit! I want to FAANG my ATV via HDR10 on my OLED. AMIRITES?
Anyway, Google TV Streamer is awesome. I'm going on 8 months (ha, beat you!). Got it for Christmas. Streamer isn't much better than most recent CCWGTV (another annoying shorthand). But Streamer is better is several respects.
Suffice to say that Streamer is worth the purchase price. You won't lose if you buy it now, next year, and for the foreseeable future.
Apple needs a cheaper Apple TV 4K
My problem is that I have my cable box plugged into the same TV set. The Google device will sometime take over the set instead of the cable if I press the wrong function on the remote. I’ve had to learn to use the right buttons to switch between the functions or to turn off the TV properly.
Not much Reason to upgrade from Chromecast BUT apparently this streamer will enable streaming audio to the New unannounced Nest speaker. FINALLY.
Stupid decision to not launch the Hazel to the UK, no one wants a white box under their TV, very distracting colour. Hazel or better a black version would be better.
