Thank you for the info
I really enjoyed your picure calibration and best settings videos. I just purchased a QM6K, and can't get the picure right. I would love to see a video on the QM6K.
Hi there Tech Steve I was just wondering if you could please show me how to get back the icon Apps with the four cicles cause I canβt add apps on my Samsung Smart tv thanks
Nah, just enable "Apps Only mode" by clicking your profile picture, manage accounts, select the account and scroll down to "Apps Only" mode and enable it. You give up voice search function, ability to install more apps that aren't already installed, and lose the custom Google Photos album, but the OS is WAYYYY less ads and snappier. Once you hit the down key to get past the one banner, it literally looks like an Apple TV with big tiles of app icons and ZERO ads. That's it.
It's good to know we don't have all those subscription ads popping up everywhere.
What about TV system updates? Donβt they have potential picture improvements?
Great job, Steve! I just set one up and nearly tried this but wasn't sure if it was for me or not. Now I know thanks to you.
I love my Apple TV I should that with my Samsung tv
Thanks, Steve. Had to nuke the WiFi so the Google TV splash screen would stop showing seductive movie posters to my 4 year old girl.
