Nope. Keeping my shield. It's going to be old enough to vote by the time something better comes around.
Anything that comes out wanting claim to the shields throne needs atleast 12-16gb ram. Because the shield isn't just a streaming box. Although the fact that google are banning the side loading of apps doesn't bode well for a potential new shield.
it def will not stand a chance against the Shield, Lack of Dolby Atmos TrueHD and only 2gb of ram, nothing will stay open and it will be sluggish. I have no idea why anything would only have 2gb of RAM in 2025
The box is weak with 2gb of ram. Have you ever heard of UGOOS tv box?? They have great tv boxes where you can side load apps and BLOATWARE free.. They have many ports and relatively cheap.. Great channel
