Its bad when you have this huge device and don't have a usb port
I have an ONN Google tv box. It cost me $19.99 and some tax. It works fine. It is smooth and fast enough. It has frozen a few times. But 99% of the time it has worked fine. For $20 I can not complain about rebooting the box occasionally.
Nothing beats Apple TV..
The remote for the Google tv box is the single worst thing ive ever held in my hand. Absolute worst
Wifi is all good for phones or a laptop around the house but for EVERYTHING else I will ALWATS go for a wired connection 100% of the times. The remote is HORRIBLE though…fortunately I can still use my Samsung smart remote with it. So far I am pretty happy with mine but only after replacing the UI with Launchify and getting rid of all the adds and recommendations.
What was the point of this product? Why the stupid formfactor? The dongle was awesome. I travel with it everywhere. Literally plug and play.
Switch from apple TV to google TV streamer due to switching from IOS to google and have to say i prefer the google TV streamer – it shows my netflex up next on the home screen apple tv can't do that. Overall been smooth at doing everything i want it to.
Do you recommend anything cheaper and batter than this. See my review.
I ran through my hometheater. Oppo blue ray player, which connected to Arcam receiver, which then connected to Sony TV. This new upgrade is amazing. Oppo and do the upscale the Netflix and YouTube streaming. Great job, google.
It's really cool that you and your business "partner" live together. I bet you guys save a ton of money.
