  1. WIth respect I think you've given the wrong advice re picture settings. Leave the menus in 4K SDR and have match frame rate and content ON. If you do as you suggest then you are never watching the content in the format it's presented in.
The only downside is that you lose the nice HDR versions of the aerial screensavers but the SDR versions are perfectly fine…. rather that and watch content in its intended format.

  2. This is a terrible misinformation about the video settings. You're giving people atrocious advice to leave the match dynamic range and framerate off while forcing everything to be played in 4k60 hdr which will make anything in SDR or DV look absolutely horrendous.

Do a better research next time you want to talk about things you clearly have no clue about.

4k60 SDR with match content enabled is the only correct way. Your settings miss the whole point of owning an apple TV if you're not taking advantage of the matching framerate and dynamic range feature.

  3. I have a normal hdr monitor with 280nits brightness only but 4k.
When i set 4k sdr and match dynamic range on then in netflix shows like strangers think , Wednesday keep playing on hdr with full brightness but becaof 280nits it looks darker.
So i cant play it with match dynamic range on.
But if i keeps it off then everything looks fine. But there is a catch.
It dims the video quality a little bit like sky and overall quality. Colors are great and quality also. But somehow the picture looks diming on 4k sdr and match content off and frame off.
