Thanks Tanya, another informative video. My view is that, as a user with Firesticks and a Cube, I know that Amazon are very authoritative and protective which I can understand as their products are excellent quality and available at a reasonable price point. The risk to them of litigation through security leaks, I believe to be the main driver rather than control.
I also use a Shield which is my favourite although expensive. I'm now trialing a Strong Leap S3 which I find is very good value at £40-ish.
In short, I will be phasing out my Amazon devices as time passes and not replacing them. They are excellent as "one size fits all" or as a very transportable device but, for a more advanced user, there are better products at better prices.
